    • Toffee bits

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  • In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until light and fluffy.

  • Add eggs and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.

  • Gradually stir in dry ingredients until just combined.

  • Fold in your mix-ins (up to 1½ cups total).

  • Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto prepared baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.

  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden and centers look soft.

 

  • Let cool 3–5 minutes on pan before transferring to a wire rack.
